Yale-NUS College is collaboration between Yale University and the National University of SIngapore. It is Yale’s first liberal art’s college outside of New Haven in its almost 300 year history.
The project consists of 3 Residential Colleges and 2 Core buildings (East & West Core). The design intent is to adapt Yale’s heritage architecture into an Asian context. Elements of tropical architecture infuse the scheme such as the incorporation of sky gardens, large roof overhangs and well-finished timber interiors.
The project is designed in collaboration with Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects.
