The project involves adding a new extension to the University Cultural Centre for facilitating pre and post functions after events, a newly erected drop off canopy and refurbished interiors including the Hall and the Theatre.

With a 1,796 seating capacity, the UCC Hall is renowned for holding signature events ranging from artistic performance organized by Centre for The Arts, annual commencement ceremony in NUS, to national state events. The renewed Hall features new seats with refreshing colours, polished walnut flooring, ribbed acoustic curtains and controlled atmospheric lightings suitable for various scenes control.

The 383 seater Theatre facilitates events of smaller audience base. In contrast to the well maintained warmly coloured timber panelling, the new seats in shades of grey are matched with dark stained acoustic wall panels in the rear and painted acoustic ceiling.

Warm copper cladding adorned the new drop off canopy, with a curved front which echoes the existing curtain wall. Accompanied by graduated shades of blue polished marble and carpets tiles, the use of copper and walnut trimmings formed a consistent language throughout the refurbished interior.
