Temasek Polytechnic has been at its present campus since 1995. At the time, this campus was a state-of-the-art complex that was planned with the help of renowned Architect Sir James Stirling.
To address the pressing need for more teaching facilities, the campus planned to expand its current capacity to include an additional 40 percent of total area. The merit of a clear and comprehensive masterplan will not only help to identify areas for new building expansion and infrastructure upgrade but also to enhance the sense of place, create a vibrant social environment for its users and address strategically the needs for a school of the future.
Through constant dialogue with the steering committee team and various working groups and end users, the final design managed to satisfy on every level from strategic overview to actual detailed implementation of the various visions, intentions and requirements of the school.
