Built on the southeastern gateway quarter to Phnom Penh city’s future financial district, the building is expected to be the first of the masterplan to be developed. Copper-coloured façade louvers wrap around a 5-storey office block modulating sunlight into the interiors and views out towards the surrounding landscape. A standalone exhibition showroom is built across the office block connected by a lightweight metal roof. Reflective pools and greenery cool and soften the landscape. Against this backdrop, the widespread use of local stone as cladding for the building base is used to heighten the contrast between the rustic and modern.
