Every effort should be made to make a hospital stay as unthreatening, comfortable, and stress-free as possible. The interior designer plays a major role in this effort to create a therapeutic environment. Some design goals established for this hospital project include creating a sense of spaciousness incorporating elements of nature; an identifiable sense of entry and space clarity with an emphasis on memorable views and vistas. The interior environment exudes a sense of comfort and care through the sensitive selection of tactile materials and lighting.
The project scope comprised interiors covering 31,587 sqm including the main reception, VIP wards, paediatrics clinic, eye/ENT clinic, breast clinic, health screening, diagnostic & imaging department and obstetrics gynaecology clinic among many others.
