Combining the use of stone screens, locally sourced timber and extensive vertical greenery creates a richly textured building façade for this proposed 204-room hotel located in the historic city of Chengdu. The internal atrium which runs the length of the building is envisioned as light-filled, restful space catering for the sophisticated traveller.
