This is a 624-bed patient centric nursing home that blurs the line between institutional and residential, thus providing an ideal back drop for healing and harmony of mind body and soul. The 4 ‘fingers’ of wards are configured to allow for improved natural ventilation and daylighting to the wards. The quadrangle is designed as a vestibule of history and serenity that unifies the conserved courtyard building.
